“Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.” — Psalm 36:5 (ESV)
“The Lord said to Gideon, ‘The people with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand… Go in this strength, and you shall save Israel from the hand of Midian.’” — Judges 7:2 (ESV)

Have you ever felt small or unqualified to do something important? Maybe it’s speaking up in class, standing for a friend, or leading a group project. Gideon in Judges 6-7 felt the same way. He was hiding, doubting, and wondering if he could really make a difference. But God reminded him that it’s not about how many people are on your side—it’s about trusting His strength. Proverbs 12:26 teaches that the right choices guide others, while wrong ones can mislead. When we let God’s love and faithfulness guide us (Psalm 36:5), we can be a light even when we feel small or unsure. Courage doesn’t come from numbers, popularity, or power—it comes from God’s presence and promise.
