Jonah prophesied in Nineveh, as God instructed, & the Ninevites turned from evil.God showed compassion & spared them from destruction. In Christ's time, He was able to be compassionate also.He humbled Himself and assumed humanity to experience our joys & sorrows. When you think God doesn't understand, remember that He became human to know us better than we know ourselves.
