On March 31, 2026, Waynesburg University's chapel message was delivered by Anthony Jarrell, University Chaplain.  The message was based out of Matthew 16:21-23 and titled, Back to the Future.  Chaplain Jarrell encouraged those in attendance to trust God and not be afraid.

The mission of Waynesburg University is to educate students to make connections between faith, learning and serving so they might faithfully transform their communities and the world.
