March 9, 2025 Daily Reading- Read the Bible in 1 Year
Today our reading takes us through 1 Samuel Chapters 27-30 and 1 Chronicles Chapter 12. Today we will read about David moving to another land and working for the king of that country. We will read about David and his men being sent home instead of being allowed to fight for the king against Saul and learn why God sent him home. In our discussion today we will talk about making effort to not be upset when we don't get to do what WE want to do, but instead, trust that God, through whatever circumstance, that HE is placing us EXACTLY where HE wants us to be! We will talk about how this is NOT the same as practicing mindfulness, an enemy tactic to distract us from trusting in God!
