When Jesus challenges us to have faith like little children, I think he assigns the other parts of this discourse to us if we do that. Just like the Israelites in the wilderness, he provides for us. Like Peter and the temple tax, he provides the resources. If our faith is like that of a little child, we can put our faith in him to provide the rest. Judgement on those who lead them away. God's relentless pursuit to bring them back. Pairing himself with his childlike followers for those who welcome them. And in the end, those with childlike faith will be ever before the Father.
