We have reached the final episode of our first season and for this episode, we are featuring Margarita “Maita” Gomez, a woman of genteel upbringing, a “society model”, and a beauty queen, crowned Miss Philippines in 1967, who left the life of glamour to go underground and join in the fight against the suffering of her fellow Filipinos during the Martial Law, and still continued to work, specially for the emancipation of women, even after she resurfaced.
