Marcus Stroman, despite carrying a 6-11 record, has a 2.92 ERA pitching in the AL East. He belongs already. A big 4 of deGrom, Syndergaard, Stroman, and Wheeler is close to unhittable. Furthermore, it will allow the Mets to rotate Stephen Matz into a rather maligned bullpen.
