Margaux had opened and co-owned a combination vintage store and art gallery in Portland, Oregon, where she began using the vintage inventory as an impromptu prop-shop while designing music videos. This led to a move to California in 2013 to pursue Production Design and filmmaking.
Margaux built her skills as a department head while working on commercials, as well in the music video and film worlds. Margaux's narrative work includes Kristen Stewart's 2017 short film Come Swim, Pete Lee's Don't Be A Hero in 2018, and Alex Pettyfer's 2018 feature film, Back Roads. Her most recent feature, Chinonye Chukwu's Independent Spirit Award nominated, Clemency, which won the US Dramatic Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
