In this episode, we delve into the historical and ongoing marginalization of Chicano voices within the governance of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD). We explore how power dynamics have been used to maintain a Eurocentric agenda, often sidelining the democratic representation of the predominantly Chicano student body. By drawing parallels to the 1968 East Los Angeles Chicano Blowouts, we discuss the importance of continued advocacy and community involvement in the pursuit of true educational justice.
