During our Talking Joy conversation, Margot spoke to Pam about life, faith, family and how she tapped into her inner strength to succeed, despite perceived limitations of living with a disability. In 2010, Margot was a senior in high school and had just been accepted to college when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that left her paralyzed. She had to learn to navigate the world in a wheelchair, but Margot remained steadfast in her determination to live a full life as independently as possible. Margot graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s in healthcare management and policy. She is now a Federal Healthcare Strategy Consultant in Washington, DC. https://www.talkingjoy.org
