Margot Robbie BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.

According to Variety and widely reported across the entertainment press, I am officially in early talks to star in and produce Tim Burtons remake of the cult 1950s sci-fi classic Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman for Warner Bros. That would see me step into the iconic role of Nancy Archer, a wealthy heiress who turns into a literal giant after an alien encounter. Tim Burton brings his signature eccentric style to the project, and although Gillian Flynn was once attached to write the script, she has since stepped away, so my involvement hinges on the final script and chosen writer. There is buzz that my production company LuckyChap could also be producing, as we have a growing portfolio after Barbie and Saltburn, and are gearing up to release Emerald Fennells Wuthering Heights next year.

On the business front, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, my much-anticipated follow-up to Barbie, lands in theaters this September. I star alongside Colin Farrell in what is called an imaginative tale of two strangers on an incredible trip. This project is directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Koganda and is expected to help cement my transition from box office star to enduring leading lady. As emphasized by Film Stories and Empire Magazine, my producing slate remains loaded, including potential entries in major franchises like Pirates of the Caribbean, the Oceans prequel, and even adaptations of The Sims and Monopoly that could yet find me in front of the camera.

In the world of fashion and lifestyle, Instagram buzzed over my recent appearance carrying Jacquemus cult Spiaggia tote, which many style watchers called the accessory moment of the week. Socially, after years of being more active on red carpets than on Instagram, I recently announced via Instagram that Im temporarily quitting social media, encouraging fans to follow LuckyChap for updates—offering a glimpse at both my private and public balancing acts.

There are also smaller stories simmering. Interviewers continue to reference the TV series I would love to resurrect, though those discussions remain speculative. Meanwhile, TikTok and Instagram reels continue to light up with clips, fan edits, and behind-the-scenes looks from my last press outings, trailing the release wave of Barbie and stoking anticipation for everything next. Despite stepping back personally from the social media frontline, conversation around my career and style still dominates entertainment spaces, with every significant move instantly dissected from Deadline and Variety headlines to fashion influencer feed.
