Persistence is of paramount importance to actualize the disruptive power of your ideas. Mariana Castells, clinician and researcher allergist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, faced multiple rejections of her research, because it went against the current dogma. Ultimately she got full recognition, which meant the possibility for her work to impact the lives of many patients worldwide.
