42-vuotias entomologian professori Marianne Shockley kuoli epäselvissä olosuhteissa illanvieton aikana vuonna 2019. Useista erikoisista yksityiskohdista huolimatta Mariannen kanssa illanvietossa olleet henkilöt olivat sitä mieltä, että Marianne kuoli hukkumalla porealtaaseen. Vaikka tapaus eteni oikeuteen saakka, edelleen on epäselvää mitä Mariannelle tapahtui ja kuka hänet surmasi.
