Our story this week deals with a girl who was the last queen of France before the French revolution. And

the man who was the last king of France before the fall of the monarchy during the French Revolution.

These two lived a life of excess in the Palace of Versailles while their people were literally starving in the

streets. She is famous for using the phrase, “Let them eat cake”, but I found out that she never used

it…but we’ll get into it in our episode. So, obviously I’m speaking of  Marie Antoinette & Louis XVI!
