Travel has taken me to many countries, but one of the most important journeys I've been on happened without moving an inch: learning English.
In this episode, I look back on how my relationship with the language evolved, from struggling through my first books and TV series to eventually thinking, counting, and even dreaming in English. I share the moments that made me realize I was not as good as I thought and how English completely changed the way I travel and connect with people around the world.
But there's also an unexpected downside: when English works almost everywhere, learning other languages becomes a lot harder.
This is an episode about language, travel, and how a second language can slowly become part of who you are.
