Know Normal People

Mariel Mulford

Listen Later

In today’s episode, Stephen gets to know Mariel Mulford! Growing up in the Billings area for most of her life, Mariel felt like she wanted to see something new in the world and experience new contexts for how the Christian church operates. After a few short term missions trips, Mariel studied for her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology at Seattle Pacific University before moving to Uganda for two and a half years! There, she worked with Hope Positive Africa. Mariel then decided to move back to the States to pursue a Master's Degree in Missiology at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. Now, she is on the tail end of that Master's, stepping into a PhD Program at Fuller where she will be researching the post-war recovery process. We hope you enjoy getting to know Mariel as much as we did!
