Marijuana Banking Bill is Back | 710 Morning Show | March 18, 2021
Marijuana companies have very hard time banking. That’s because the federal government still deems cannabis illegal and banks can’t touch criminal companies. A new bill would change all of that and allow banks to work with “state legal” marijuana companies. That could change the entire global landscape of legal marijuana. And in local news, Florida THC Cap bill HB1455 has some new committee amendments (meaning committee members are trying to change it before it moves forward). We are joined by Jodi & Josephine from FLCAN.org and Eric Stevens from Florida for Care. We’ll talk about what changes they want to make and how that would impact Florida medical marijuana patients.
