In this week's episode, I talk to Marika Henrichs who is a somatic therapist and healer. We talk about how we experience life through the lens of the body and how our bodies are rich sources of wisdom. Marika shares processes through which we can collate all of this important information on a somatic level. We also discuss social justice issues and how the experience of systemic oppression can be experienced at the level of our bodies and stored within them. We consider the ways in which we are conditioned to disconnect from our bodies and practical ways that we can heal trauma though somatic practices. This is a very important episode and I hope you find it as deeply informative as I did.
