When Mark calls Marilu a “multi-threat” he’s not kidding.
Marilu Henner (a returning guest to THE EDGE) was trained and excelled as an actress on stage, television and film. She counts the hit shows Taxi and Evening Shade among the TV shows she’s been part of and she’s starred in feature films opposite John Travolta, Burt Reynolds, Michael Keaton and Steve Martin.
But it’s her work and presence beyond show business that has gotten a lot of attention along the way as well.
Motivated by the early death of her parents, Marilu became educated in health and wellness strategies. She’s lectured and written extensively on those subjects.
When her husband of two months was given a dire cancer diagnosis, the two planned a strategy to beat it without surgery, chemo or radiation.
Twelve and a half years later he’s around to reflect on that story in a new book that is released in April. Here’s a link to that book and some of her other work.
Finally Marilu has what’s called, highly superior autobiographical memory, which allows her a perfect memory of places, people and situations that defies description.
The crew talks to her about a lot of what her life has been about with a dash of Celebrity Apprentice, Donald Trump and The Bachelor thrown in as well.
