Marion Benkaiouche was born in Marseille, France, growing up partially in Quebec and Florida before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia as a teenager. A writer and conceptual artist, she writes book reviews for subTerrain Magazine and other periodicals. Violette is her first full-length story to be published. Marion also runs the Feral Archive. The archive aims to attune visitors to the idea of semiocide, and how we can preserve cultural heritage while accepting the ephemeral nature of our memories. Her story "Violette: A Triptych" appears in its entirety in Issue 4 of Found You Magazine.
