We went Live on location with Marion Ross of Happy Days at The Happy Days Farm (it's embroidered on the towels!) and boy was it a happy day. What a exuberant, joyful, animated, articulate, observant, resilient, inspiring, determined, passionate, lovely, funny, and oh, so fun powerhouse of a woman! Marion talked The Fonz, Ron Howard, Anson Williams, Donny Most, and, Tom Bosley (not so happy). How Garry Marshall used softball to unite, unify and promote the cast; Audrey Hepburn, Cecil B. DeMille, Jack Lord (also not so happy), Dick Sergeant, Alaska, Germany, Minnesota, finding true love at 60 (yes!), and her mother, who encouraged supported, and nudged Marion to go be an actress. Wonderful stories told by a delightful storyteller bathed in wisdom and conviction. Her memoir, My Days, Happy and Otherwise executed with David Laurell is available here https://amzn.to/2MJZHe1 and she’ll be sharing tales from that front, Clark Cable, Cary Grant, Tony Curtis, oh my, at Women Who Write on Oct 30th. Can’t wait for more Marion.
