Marissa (they/she) is a charismatic student affairs professional and proud product of the Central Valley - Merced, CA. Marissa is an advocate for students with marginalized identities and their access to quality higher education.

They earned their Master of Science degree in Higher Education Counseling and Student Affairs from Cal Poly SLO and BA in Political Science - Public Service from the University of California, Davis after transferring from Merced Community College.
