Lucky number 13.........or is it unlucky? Well, we make our own luck here at MHPC! For my first episode back after about a month hiatus, I have good friend and all-around intelligent guy, Pat Cormier. Pat is a friend of mine from back in our undergrad days, where we spent a lot of time helping each other through our degree while also balancing course work and our busy athletic schedules. Pat went on to complete a Masters abroad, working in Spain and Finland. Pat is now back on the east coast coaching soccer, training athletes, and raising the bar for quality sport science based coaching. Check out this episode to learn more about Pat's background, and his insights on training and coaching here!

She is able to juggle work, social life, owning a home, hobbies, and exercise! Alex truly found a passion for strength training over the last few years and has had the chance to compete in the sport of powerlifting, with plans to do so again in the near future. Alex took her time, and through the process of trial and error, has created a great lifestyle for herself, especially with her nutrition and training, not to mention she's strong AF! Anybody can take something from this episode, but especially those who may be apprehensive about going to a gym for the first time, starting a diet, or just aren't sure lifting is for them, you're not the only one who has been there and Alex provides some great insight that can help you in your health journey!
