Despite the myriad of shootings that preceded this tragedy, nothing sparked more discussion than the likes of several Parkland students who have taken it upon themselves to convene and organize marches, protests and panels across the United States to bring attention to gun reform policies.
Emilie Smith, a student at North Broward Preparatory School, a performing arts high school near Marjory Stoneman Douglas High shared her experience as a student at a near-by school and addressed her recollection of February 14th, 2018 before and after receiving news of the cataclysm at Parkland. Law Professor, Dr.Donald Jones speaks on the legal ramifications of gun reform as well as the current state of legalities surrounding gun ownership.
