Mark 1 introduces us to the beginning of Jesus' ministry. It starts with John the Baptist preparing the way and baptizing Jesus. We then see Jesus calling His first disciples and performing miracles, such as healing the sick and driving out demons. This chapter sets the tone for Jesus' mission and the urgency with which He approached His work.
