When there is something we need to get done or when you’re channeling all your energy into focussing on one thing, you don’t want to be distracted, interrupted, or questioned—never mind stopping what you’re doing altogether to help someone with their problem. As we finish up Mark chapter 10, we’ll see Jesus who is determinedly marching to give his life as a ransom for many, stop in his tracks to care for the problems of a littler one in the story of Blind Bartimaeus.
