Betrayal, violence, judgment, and denial. Sometimes we reverse the power equation and we think that we are God’s defender, that unless it were for our enthusiastic efforts then the Kingdom would topple. That is not the case. WE NEED Jesus as our defender! Lest He defends us we will fall. His kingdom will stand forever, the gates of Hell will not prevail against it. Our kingdoms fall everyday!
