Chapter 4:1-20

I. Parable of the soils.

A. Jesus teaching on the sea is symbolic and necessary. (1)

B. Jesus describes the condition of mans heart when the seed of the word is planted. (2-8)

B. The unprepared soil that cannot endure. (16,17)
