I had serious doubts about whether Mark and Samantha would understand what I do at my day job, but they surprised me. Cybersecurity is a scary enough word, so talking about zero-trust architecture (ZTA) is not something most podcasters would discuss, especially if it’s outside their expertise.

It might sound like a topic far from your world, but ZTA is already deeply plugged into our lives, and most people aren’t even aware of it. Even if you're not working in IT or cybersecurity, security protocols directly impact our lives as we spend most of our time in front of screens and social media.

Internet products, whether physical or software, surround our lives. How we interact with them and their security protocols affects how we interact with people.

Now you all know a bit more about my day job, thanks to Mark and Samantha. It’s not exactly LinkedIn here, and I doubt many of you think about cybersecurity outside of what you see in the news.
