Joining Mario for this week`s profile interview was  television presenter and journalist, best known for presenting Ireland AM until this year, he announced he was leaving after 20 years earlier this year.

Mark said he had no regrets getting up every morning at 2.45am in the morning and it actually allowed him to have more time with his young family than most parents. There were lots of things he might have missed out on because of the early nights but Mark has no regrets!

Don`t worry about being popular, worry about being good because if you`re good you will always work.

Mark has said that the next gig for him he would love is a radio slot - (watch your seat Mario).  After recently covering breakfast on Newstalk , Mark has caught the bug again!

Once I got the bit of rust off , I thought Oh My God, this is what I was meant to do- this is what I dreamed of , I very rarely felt on television when you reached out you could feel the person watching, with this (radio) when its working, you feel like you can reach out and touch someone that`s listening.
