Mark Cantu is an Award-Winning Writer/Director from Pittsburgh, PA. Starting out as a theater actor in San Antonio in 1996, he eventually moved into his true passion for film in 1998.

Since then, he has made the leap into Indie Features with the Superhero Comedy, "Now Hiring" (2014); the Military Thriller, “Elite" (2016); and the Sci-Fi Thriller, "Night Zero.” He is currently getting ready to release the ‘80s Slasher Comedy, "Massacre Academy," which was filmed during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Pittsburgh/McKeesport area.

His next Feature Film is the werewolf horror comedy, “Wolf Hollow." Mark currently resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Liz Cantu, and their three children.
