While the industry welcomes many aspects of the Climate Change Commission’s interim report, it will be a challenge for deer farmers.
If the commission’s recommendations are adopted, livestock farmers will need to reduce their net methane emissions from 2018 levels by 13% by 2030, a further 7% by 2035 and another 4% by 2050.
