As Jesus ministers to those in need, the inevitable confrontation with the Pharisees takes place....where does Jesus's ministry fall in relation to the Sabbath? Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? The better question is this...what does this passage reveal about our Savior? Jesus's wonderful and powerful response gives hope to all the world...that he is the Lord of the Sabbath! There is a path of salvation for mankind and it is only through Jesus Christ!
