Mark Russell is the leader of the Children's Society, a charity that for more than 100 years has championed children and for Britain to care for its youngest members of society. Mark speaks passionately about the work of the Children's Society, his own education and fascinating upbringing and some of the challenges children face today. We discuss with Mark how schools and school trusts can support children and families in the widest sense, how families can support their children and how the Children's Society is leading the way in researching the views of children and developing a support network to promote change for children.

The Children's Society have successfully campaigned on the issues of free school meals and school uniform in order to support families and children.

Mark provides an inspirational and hopeful role model for anyone working with, or wanting to work with children and young people.

Trust Education is a podcast which explores the world of education in academy trusts.

Academy trusts have become the majority school providers in England over the past decade. We take a look from the inside, how academy trusts can develop schools, support teachers, engage parents and educate children.

Speaking to academy leaders, education thinkers, and leaders from other professions, we aim to explore how trusts work and how education thinking is developing.
