The NEFA Coaches Corner Monthly Webinar. Series 2 Episode 2 (Part 1) February 2022
Our guest for the February Coaches Corner was Mark Sampson. Mark was the Head of the Swansea City Centre of Excellence, before becoming Manager of Taff’s Wells then moving to FA Women’s Premier League Club Bristol Academy, where he led the club to a runners-up place in 2013 and two F.A Cup Finals in 2010-11 and 2012-13.
His next role was as Manager of the England Women’s National Team where he spent four years and led them to their highest ever placing at a World Cup, finishing third. Mark then secured a post in the men’s game at Stevenage as First Team Coach and was an integral part of the team ensuring survival in League Two.
He recently moved on from the club to focus on new projects. Mark is an UEFA Pro Licence holder and recognised within the football industry as a talented and forward-thinking coach.
As always, the event will be in the normal NEFA interactive format, with our attendees able to ask questions to another vastly knowledgeable coach.
