Robert Towell from Sasfin Securities chose Medtronic as his stock pick of the day.

"I'm choosing Medtronic. It's a medical suppliers business overseas that do pacemakers, hip and knee replacements. They also do very high tech medical equipment and we saw that a lot of these companies dropped off quite quite substantially during Covid. Medtronic did come down quite aggressively over as people couldn't go in for operations but they spend a lot of money in R&D and we really think this is the right sector to be in."
