In this podcast, I am just talking about all these ways that we make things marketable to gain more views and comments and sales....and how much that sucks and how it ruins so much of this awesome technology that we now have to connect in this world. From commercials that just suck, to everyone copying each other and not really making original content or even innocent attention-grabbing headlines, to the scarier implications of people exploiting the algorithms to put fast, short, and very incorrect information on your lap. The numbers show one thing but society is showing the real effects of what happens when we choose marketability over substance. In this episode, I share a bit of my own struggle to conform to the rules and overall just talk about how we can resist these patterns while still allowing for the future of the technology and how we engage with it to keep changing and growing....or shrinking (referring to 30-second TikToks and reels).
