The move is as much about digesting the new gains, however, as it is about the threat of COVID-19 and the impact of the Omicron variant. While the spread of COVID-19 remains a threat the Omicron variant is far less a problem than first thought. The latest news, in fact, suggests Omicron may help fight against the more virulent Delta variant.
