I believe one of the most demanding and difficult jobs in a business is marketing. Marketing is a constant process of improvement and response. The goal of marketing is to improve customer experience. This means Marketing must receive feedback from the customer and respond to the customer interest without jeopardizing the company. I believe customers want to take ownership and influence the decision-making of the company through their requests and feedback. This is a balancing act for the company; on one hand to maintain their core values and mission and on the other hand to appease the interests of their customer. I believe that Marketing is important because it paints the word picture of the company’s mission to customers and recruits new customers through the value added propositions.
