Let’s talk about why focusing on social media doesn’t make sense for many businesses. And to do this I’m going to focus on the numbers and the data.  When it comes to marketing we cannot escape them because data is facts. 

I am not anti-social media – as I mentioned in the Coming Soon episode. It has its place in the marketing mix however there is way too much emphasis put on it.

Listen and see what the numbers realistically are when you consider that so-called 'free' social media versus other marketing tactics that time the same (or less) time.
