"I was struck by the similarities between the sounds of the people, streets and market of Blonie in Poland and those of Newton Abbot: the town in southwest England near where I live. 

"I made some field binaural recordings in Newton Abbot town centre and combined them with the Blonie market. There's the obvious difference in language but the overwhelming feeling the commonality of the sounds of both places."
