This week we turn our attention to the wrath of God. While this is a

subject that many try to avoid, it is one of the central themes of Paul’s

epistle. Martin Lloyd Jones said this about the wrath of God in this text,

“You cannot understand the Gospel without understanding it. This is the

section that shows us the absolute necessity of the Gospel.” Why do we need

salvation? Why do we need the Gospel? This text shows us the answer.
