God is the one who created and instituted marriage and yet we can easily be led astray or remain ignorant of the design and intent He has for it. When we live in a marriage by His design we can expect peace and fruitfulness to abound, but when we twist marriage into something to serve ourselves, we will experience constant frustration and thorns and thistles in our marriage will be sure to abound.
