Understanding marriage roles is an important part of understanding God's design of marriage. Our culture has sought to do away with these concepts of "roles" claiming that they create inequality in marriage, but that it not what the Scriptures teach. God has created perfect equality and yet has designed Men and Women differently to enable them to do and excel at different things. When we operate in our God given strengths we increase our fruitfulness and bring greater glory to God.
