The role of husband in marriage is a tremendous responsibility. It carries a weight that goes beyond our capability. But God chose you and therefore grants you the grace to do what He calls you to do as a husband, father, leader. Outside of following Jesus, learning from Him, and applying scripture to the role as husband, you will not be able to biblically love your wife as Christ loves us. Abide in His love so your marriage can be a representation of the gospel.
