As husbands submit to Christ, wives submit to their husbands, so children submit to their parents. Learning to live in obedience to mom and dad helps children understand what it is to live in obedience to Christ as adults. We as parents have the great responsibility to teach them God's Word as we model Christlikeness in our home. Children are a heritage from the Lord. May we treat them as such.
