In this episode we dive into what does it mean to "choose" to stay and when do you know if it's your time to leave? Let's get ROOTED!
A lot of times we find ourselves inside our marriages wondering if we should stay or if we should go. A lot of times in marriage we can forget that we already made the choice, at the altar. For better or for worse, in sickness & in health and sometimes when you find yourselves in a season of the “worse”, it can be easy to forget that it’s not necessarily choosing to stay (because that’s why you got married) but it’s choosing to change. Choosing to do the intentional work that allows us to keep the promise and responsibilities of the choice we already made. Taking responsibility in marriage can be very difficult to do if we are unwilling to see the ways in which we may not be equipped with healthy mentalities, behaviors, tools, reactions & solutions in order to ensure a fruitful and abundant marriage. Luckily, we don’t have to have all the answers, we just have to have a willingness to become intentional in the areas our marriages require.
