In this 2 Part Episode we are exploring the worldly programming that has no place in covenant marriages but has found a way to creep into our marriage gardens like an enemy seeking whom he can devour.

I’m guilty of doing this which is how and why I know it’s toxic and has no place in covenant marriage.

Your spouse isn’t like everyone else they are uniquely, wholly, and divinely made in the image of God. They have their own morals and values, their own character, their own story, their own mind, their own WILL, they are not like “ALL men” or “ALL women” so why do we generalize as a society so much? Maybe it’s easier to assume we are all the same based on our anatomy, since generalizations don’t require a need to understand one another but rather be right in our own eye. To actually look at our spouse as an individual rather then cast them into the pool of their shared gender. A desensitization and disconnection from the actual person and maybe even avoidance on getting to the root cause of an issue…Generalizations can have us placing labels on our spouses that they don’t deserve to wear.
