All marriages are designed to produce wine. Wine is the fruitful production of the life of Christ operating in and through a marriage. In John 2 when Jesus was at the wedding in Cana the couple had run out of wine. If it wasn't for Jesus intervening the festivities that were planned would have been ruined. As a godly couple if Christ is absent in your union your wine production will not be sustainable. In fact, it will sure run out, for every marriage at the beginning sets out to produce good wine. Without Christ as the third fold cord, you will not produce much for God. Wine is the only thing that a correct marriage is able to share with others. As couples our marriages may be the only encounter of Christ that is physically seen. If we are without wine, then surely our union is progressing the agenda of darkness instead of light.
