Every man that God has made He designed a helper for him. The woman in Genesis 2 was made to be a suitable, adaptable, help to the assignment that God instructed the man to do. All wives are first to be made from the man. The woman is made to be the strength to the man's weakness, providing what the man is lacking. The woman is not a toy or a trophy but instead is a helping hand to help the man accomplish the will of God. If the man doesn't see the value and the purpose for the woman, he will not properly use his help to his advantage. If the woman doesn't understand how and why she was made, then she will not take her rightful place in being a help, making her a hinderance.
